What do they have to do with failing banks that bought garbage loans and now want the taxpayer to lick up their garbage? The American politician bought all the bull and forgot about the moose. I truly fear that America is in for a very rough ride."

"My fellow Americans. My good friends up here like George and Abraham are constantly joking with me that I have lost my memory. Maybe they have a point. I seem to remember Republicans, including John McCain, as being Capitalists and conservative in principle. Like this book points out, this bill is a Socialist’s dream come true. No self-respecting Conservative would ever think about voting for this in my day. As a Conservative, no bill containing this much pork would have had a chance with me in the White House. If my memory is slipping, I am certainly not the only one. John McCain actually stood up to Fannie Mae on the floor of the Senate,calling for more regulation of these entities. And yet when Obama accused the Republicans of causing this crisis at one of the recent debates, McCain stood silent. He truly looked clueless. And as for Obama, who is he? The only Obama I ever heard of was some guy from Chicago who was busy hanging around with unrepentant terrorists and a variety of other Socialists and Communists. I even recall that he played a large role in the voter fraud group ACORN, and even promoted these garbage loans to minority people with substandard credit. Surely America couldn't have fallen this far, this fast. It must be some other Obama that I have never heard of. Hard to believe that I could get Gorbachev to tear down the Berlin Wall, and yet my fellow Republicans didn't have the courage to tear this bill up. As you know, I was a Democrat until the party left me. It troubles me to say that the Republican party is rapidly leaving me, as well. If someone would please create a Conservative-based third party, I would certainly be interested."
